Westminster Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Facilities Assistant to support the Buildings and Grounds team. The role involves seasonal lawn care, trash collection, event setup, and helping with light maintenance and project tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or GED), be currently enrolled at Westminster Theological Seminary, and hold a valid driver's license. Prior maintenance or landscaping experience is preferred, and the ability to follow directions with

Responsabilidades

• Seasonal grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, trimming, shrubs, leaf and snow removal.
• General campus maintenance: trash collection, event setup/takedown, room arrangement.
• Assist with facilities projects: painting and light construction.
• Run errands and pick up supplies/equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Description

Assist Facilities Team with building and grounds maintenance functions and projects.

Essential Functions

• Seasonal grounds maintenance: grass cutting; edging; trimming; maintaining shrubs, trees and flowerbeds; leaf collection and removal; and snow removal.
• Other campus maintenance: trash collection, event set-up and take-down; arranging classrooms, tables, and chairs.
• Facilities project assistance: such as painting and construction.
• Facilities assistance: Run errands; pick up supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Able to follow both verbal and written directions and to use this instruction to complete tasks with limited supervision very important.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Currently enrolled at Westminster Theological Seminary Preferred
• Maintenance, Landscaping, or Building Trades experience Preferred.
• Valid Driver's license

Work Schedule

12-20 hours weekly, normally weekdays during the school semester; additional hours during the Summer.
