Job summary

Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, GA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Staff member to support daily operations of offices, public spaces, restrooms, and grounds. The role involves performing general repairs across electrical, mechanical, and structural areas while maintaining exterior and interior cleanliness and appearance.

Applicant should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be willing to work in varying environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties; manuals may be in English.
• Experience with IT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility: emptying trash, sweeping walkways, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas: emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Exhibits regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.

Essential Duties:

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

• Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

• No certifications or licenses are required.

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
