Job summary

Achasta Golf Club, part of Troon, located in Dahlonega, GA, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Staff member to perform daily repair and maintenance across offices, public spaces, restrooms, and grounds. The role emphasizes learning, contribution, and growth within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization.

Responsibilities include electrical, mechanical, and structural maintenance, upkeep of exterior and interior areas, and timely reporting of supply needs.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with IT is a plus

Achasta Golf Club, located in Dahlonega, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

• Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

• No certifications or licenses are required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Experience with IT is a plus.
