Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Hanover, MD is seeking a skilled Maintenance General Sr. to join the RMS Facilities team. You will perform a wide range of facility maintenance and repair tasks to ensure buildings and equipment are maintained safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related experience, relevant trade knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when required. A TS-SCI w/polygraph clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance required with TS-SCI w/polygraph.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to work after-hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Escort contractors throughout all buildings to complete various tasks and projects.
• Perform facilities maintenance including walls repairs/paint, plumbing repairs, light fixture repairs and bulb replacement, and general carpentry.
• Communicates the status of major repairs to the Facilities Manager.
• Utilize the Lockheed Martin vehicle to deliver material, packages, and equipment.
• Respond to after-hours facilities related emergencies.
• Work flexible hours as required by the customer, including weekends and holidays when applicable.
• Work overtime as required for extended tasks and projects.
• Perform janitorial and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with groundskeeping duties, including maintaining exterior areas and performing snow and ice removal from sidewalks and walkways.
