Pelican Care Centers is seeking a Maintenance Director to plan and direct the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring facilities are safe and well-maintained to meet regulatory standards.

The role oversees Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Groundskeeping, Safety/Security, and equipment management with contracted agencies, while coordinating with HR and safety officers to ensure compliance and staff training.

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the Maintenance Department operations.
• Direct staff to complete projects on budget and on schedule.
• Maintain safe conditions and train staff in safety and hazmat per OSHA.
• Oversee facility interiors, grounds, and 24-hour coverage.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and written policies.
• Coordinate with contractors and HR for access and security.
• Monitor and manage departmental budget and capital needs.
• Ensure safety for patients, visitors, and staff, and fire drill compliance.
• Supervise maintenance of medical equipment with contracted agencies.
