The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Maintenance Repairman 2 to support daily operations at the Wilkes-Barre Readiness Center. This position involves hands-on maintenance across painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and grounds care to keep the facility safe and functional.

Work is on-site, full-time (7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week), with 1st shift hours. Applicants must meet the required experience and possess a PA Class C driver's license. Veterans' preferences may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building and plant maintenance with at least two trades (building, electrical, mechanical).
• Equivalent combination of experience and training that covers required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Responsabilités

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces, prepare and apply finishes.
• Install and repair sinks, faucets, drains, piping, and monitor backflow testing.
• Remodel rooms, install drywall and flooring, repair windows/doors.
• Install circuits, replace lighting, maintain electrical systems.
• Repair heating, cooling, ventilation equipment and service appliances.
• Remove snow and debris, maintain landscaping, assist with cleaning duties.
