Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Project Specialist to manage a portfolio of campus maintenance and facilities projects at the Milton, Vermont site. You will plan, schedule, and execute capital installations, shutdowns and repairs while coordinating with internal managers and external contractors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building maintenance, strong project management skills, and an engineering degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in building maintenance/facilities.
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience with supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage maintenance and facilities projects to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and implement repair and maintenance procedures for teams and contractors.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external contractors to minimize costs and ensure standards.
• Coordinate activities with managers across the organization.
• Estimate cost, time, and resources for projects; prepare work orders and monitor progress.
• Lead contract negotiations on facilities topics (e.g. waste removal).
• Oversee all building-related projects and decisions; liaise with interior design, engineering, and construction management services.
