Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a production support associate to help keep facilities and equipment in top condition while ensuring a clean and orderly production area. You will assist with processing parts, perform light maintenance, and follow safety and quality procedures to meet customer requirements.

The role requires the ability to read procedures, work independently yet collaborate with a team, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Must be motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creating a quality product.
• Participates in training to produce a quality product and uses preventative measures to ensure requirements and standards are met.
• Comply with legal and other requirements to avoid injury.
• Identify potential emergency situations and report incidents to supervisor/manager.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas; assist with maintenance and processing parts.
• Read instructions and record information using logs or computer systems.
• Overtime may be required and other duties as assigned.
