Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform all maintenance and repair work on mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment at assigned locations.

You will conduct scheduled inspections, repair malfunctions, handle major repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems, and respond to emergencies while keeping facilities safe and secure. The role requires partial high school or higher with a preferred HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively helps customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from the Maintenance Manager and assist in maintenance and repair.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of buildings and equipment; repair malfunctions.
• Make major repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Respond to emergency facility needs, including safety and security issues.
• Lock and secure buildings; monitor and reset security systems as appropriate.
• Assist with inventory and security of supplies for unit maintenance.
• Maintain safe facility environment and upkeep of equipment.
• Notify management of unusual events or safety issues.
