Job summary

Sofidel America, a leading tissue products manufacturer, is seeking a Building Maintenance Operator to support preventive maintenance and day-to-day facility upkeep.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry tasks, operate sanitation tools, and help keep the plant safe, compliant, and productive; strong safety mindset and ability to work with the Maintenance team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of hand/power tools, HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Excellent safety awareness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine/preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry as needed.
• Operate small balers, pallet jacks, and cleaning tools.
• Inspect equipment, report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with plant floor cleanliness and waste removal.
• Support meetings and procedures to meet schedules.
