Job summary

Crane’s Mill, a faith-based senior living community in New Jersey, is seeking a Maintenance Operations Assistant. This full-time role offers a competitive wage of $19–$21/hour, paid time off, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support purchasing, vendor management, and maintenance operations, enter work orders, manage inventory, and assist the Director of Plant Operations. Teamwork and customer service are essential as you help ensure reliable, resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–3 years purchasing/supply management; vendor relationships; maintenance/contractor setting; strong customer service.
• Microsoft Office and Maintenance Software Applications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive resident work orders and enter data into the software promptly.
• Coordinate day-to-day work order processing with Maintenance Techs.
• Assist Director of Plant Operations with purchasing supplies and materials.
• Maintain inventory control and generate related reports.
• Handle office duties and communications for the department.
