Job summary

Fillauer Companies is seeking a Facilities Services Specialist to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure across the Salt Lake City facility.

You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, use CMMS to organize tasks, coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and other trades, and support space planning and sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical training in electrical, industrial maintenance, or related trade preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a mechanic role, manufacturing, or related trades field.
• Electrical experience (troubleshooting, repairs).
• Problem-solving mindset with proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Analyze mechanical and/or electrical problems and perform corrective actions.
• Use CMMS to organize, assign, and document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate repairs with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other trades as needed.
• Work with departments to identify and prioritize tasks by urgency and safety.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify hazards and improvements.
• Assist with space planning, equipment moves, and layout changes.
• Support sustainability initiatives and cost-saving facility improvements.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours response rotations.
• Identify and source parts, tools, and supplies for repairs.
