Job summary

Oklahoma State University (OSU) Stillwater is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker to support VPR spaces and equipment. You will identify and repair issues, perform daily walk-throughs, and schedule preventative maintenance to ensure continuous research use.

Role requires flex scheduling, overtime, and on-call rotation. A valid driver’s license and compliance with safety programs are mandatory. Strong communication and basic building trades skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School/GED completion required by start date.
• BMM I/II/III levels describe progressively more years of building-trade experience or 600 hours vocational/technical education.

Responsibilities

• General office, lab and equipment maintenance for spaces assigned to the VPR.
• Identify, respond to, and repair issues; perform daily walk-throughs of VPR spaces.
• Schedule preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure continuous research use.
• Maintain infrastructure and daily operations of VPR facilities.
