Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of DIW and IWW systems, including water purification, chemical dosing, and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance and assist in data collection and analysis to ensure optimal operation and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of DIW and IWW systems, including pumps, valves, filters, tanks, and instrumentation.
  • Support system startups, shutdowns, and changeovers in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including equipment engineering, EHS, and facilities operations.
  • Respond to system alarms and emergencies, providing timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Should have working knowledge of PVAC, PCW, ChW, Steam, HotW, and Exhaust (Acid, VOC, Caustic, General) Systems.
  • Would also be called upon to fill in as an operator on an occasional basis

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Systems Engineering Technicianto support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Deionized Water (DIW)andIndustrial Wastewater (IWW)systems within our advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, a strong understanding of fluid handling processes, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field, or equivalent military or technical training.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, Microsoft Package and CMMS software.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor facility operations.
  • Certification in water treatment or wastewater operations is a plus.
