Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Riverstone, Missouri City, TX seeks a Building Maintenance Manager to lead our on-site support services and maintain building systems. This hands-on role supervises a maintenance assistant and coordinates with housekeeping and laundry teams.

You will manage preventative maintenance schedules, log activities in TELS, ensure life-safety compliance, and work with vendors. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in facilities maintenance and healthcare regulation experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on building maintenance experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• 1–2 years supervising small teams in a single facility.
• Familiarity with life safety codes, regulatory surveys, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, PTAC, fire alarms, and life-safety systems.
• Respond on-call to facility emergencies as needed.
• Directly manage and mentor the maintenance assistant and oversee housekeeping/laundry coordination.
• Prioritize and schedule preventive maintenance using TELS and track work orders.
• Log all activities, vendor interactions, and compliance in TELS; generate reports for audits.
