Job description

The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the Raintree Country Club's facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for members and guests. This role involves managing the clubhouse teams, coordinating with external contractors, and implementing preventive maintenance and safety programs. Ideal candidates are analytical problem solvers. They have extensive knowledge of the care, operation, and overall repair and maintenance of the entire facility, grounds upkeep, and contracted services. Salary $65,000-74,000 based on experience and credentials.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance Management: Oversee and participate in the maintenance and cleanliness of all clubhouse facilities, including buildings and equipment.
• Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of clubhouse staff including maintenance, housekeeping, and porters, providing scheduling, training and support as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficiency of clubhouse equipment.
• Repairs and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and coordinate necessary repairs with internal staff and external contractors.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits, updating logs and addressing any issues promptly.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the building maintenance budget, including forecasting costs, coding invoices, and tracking expenditures.
• Vendor Coordination: Order and maintain supplies, as well as negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers and contractors.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, safety issues, and budget status to club management.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications:
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and speak English; Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in maintenance software and tools.
• Relevant certifications in facilities management or maintenance are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position M-F 8-4, with flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours
• Frequently uses hands
• Regularly stands, walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawls
• Frequently lifts, moves, and carries up to 50 pounds; occasionally push or pull up to 100 pounds
• Normally works near moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, fumes and/or airborne particles
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
• Noise level is moderate
