Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations in Dallas. You will oversee daily activities, coordinate preventive maintenance, assign work orders, and guide a team of technicians, balancing hands-on oversight with planning, reporting, and leadership.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, ownership of facility performance, and driving safety and reliability across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 5 years’ experience in facility/building maintenance.
• Experience coordinating maintenance schedules and work assignments.
• Ability to identify issues, make sound decisions, and solve complex maintenance problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and CMMS/FMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support maintenance technicians and other facility personnel.
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities.
• Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members.
