Job summary

Arcan Capital in Marietta, GA seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team, oversee repairs, groundskeeping, and property upkeep, ensuring safety and compliance.

You will mentor staff, manage service requests, coordinate preventive maintenance, and uphold exceptional resident service while maintaining high maintenance standards across interior and exterior systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family housing.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments and common areas through painting, repairs, cleaning and general upkeep.
• Oversee interior and exterior maintenance, including HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident and staff maintenance requests; ensure timely resolution.
• Recruit, train and supervise maintenance staff; provide coaching and evaluations with the Property Manager.
• Implement and track preventative maintenance; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for landscaping, painting and asphalt work.
• Maintain resident privacy and deliver high-quality customer service at all times.
• Adhere to local, state and federal housing laws, fair housing regulations, and OSHA standards.
