Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Los Angeles to oversee all maintenance and repair of assigned buildings and facilities. The role requires coordinating daily work orders, maintaining records, and driving productivity within the department.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, strong safety awareness, and proficient use of Word, Excel, and work order systems. CDL and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building maintenance knowledge.
• Know safety principles: PPE, chemical hazards, lockout/tagout.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, and work order systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Distribute daily work assignments.
• Motivate and encourage productivity within the department.
• Keep clear and up to date records of all repairs made within the department.
• Make, process, monitor and close all daily work orders.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
