Qualifications

• Requires graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general building/facility maintenance, construction, project and/or vendor management.
• Municipal experience is preferred; valid Florida driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled routine/preventative maintenance repairs including plastering, drywall, painting, plumbing, carpentry and related tasks.
• Drives a truck to transport materials, equipment, and staff as needed.
• Completes purchase order requisitions; tracks equipment and material usage; submits project reports.
• Inspects work, prepares reports on contractors, and participates in annual inspections.
• Plans projects with cost analysis for materials and labor; coordinates vendor activities.
