Job summary

TMEIC Corporation Americas seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure facilities, building services, and equipment are compliant, reliable, and operating optimally. You will perform routine maintenance and coordinate with contractors to minimize production disruption.

This role requires at least 5 years in facilities maintenance, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes, and the ability to travel up to 5%. Strong communication and vendor management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance and operations.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical codes and systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on facilities, building services and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and capital expenditure requests.
• Negotiate contracts for facilities maintenance with favorable terms.
• Direct contractors and employees to complete projects as needed.
• Serve as primary emergency responder for facility issues.
• Maintain maintenance logs and files.
