Job summary

Esplanade at Starling in Punta Gorda, FL, part of Troon, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a hospitality-focused property.

You will perform routine tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and space reconfiguration, ensuring safety, cleanliness and on-schedule delivery.

Salary is $55,000 annually with benefits; growth opportunities exist within a global leader in golf and community management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Attendance and punctuality are expected.
• Ability to use common office equipment.
• Proficient with email, Word, Excel and internet browsers.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks.
• Carry out maintenance in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and other assigned duties.
• Inspect buildings and note repairs using check sheets.
• Install and repair fixtures; minor electrical work.
• Do minor plumbing and painting, drywall work.
• Reconfigure modular offices to maximize space.
• Prepare surfaces and paints; maintain safety.
• Clean rooms and common areas.
• Order parts and maintain documents.
• Work flexible hours including weekends as required.
