Jaybird Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to lead the maintenance team, keep the facility, grounds, and equipment safe and attractive, and deliver exceptional service to residents, visitors, and staff.

The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, proactive preventive maintenance, and effective supervision of maintenance and housekeeping staff, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or accredited maintenance training with relevant experience.
• Applicable state boilers licensure or ability to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, travel locally, and periodically overnight.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise and train maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas, including apartments, offices, and grounds.
• Prepare and refurbish apartments for move-ins (painting, flooring, ceiling fans).
• Maintain and repair facility equipment; manage fire safety and emergency systems.
• Inspect apartments for hazards and perform janitorial tasks as needed.
• Transport residents in company vehicles; respond to emergencies as required.
