Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks across our Ocala, FL facilities. You will perform complex repairs in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, direct vendors, and help maintain preventive programs to ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to record data in computer systems; you must pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance or operations experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and vendors.
• Ability to pass post-offer background and pre-employment drug test.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
• Perform complex repairs in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Direct work and supervise vendors/technicians who repair/maintain equipment.
• Conduct weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards.
• Record data from main electrical panels and inspections.
• Provide support for conference room setup and events.
• Ensure receipt and accountability for deliveries including FedEx and office supplies.
