Job summary

TAS, a Houston-headquartered company within Comfort Systems USA, is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance activities, lead technicians, and ensure optimal operation of the facility. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs and coordinate with other departments to support safety and efficiency.

Based in Houston, TAS designs modular systems for data centers and industrial applications.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
OSHA safety certification preferred.
Facilities management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
Ensure all maintenance activities are safe and compliant with OSHA and other standards.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress for timely completion.
Promote safety and continuous improvement within the team.
Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized work.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve quickly.
Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts and reorder as needed.
Handle other duties as assigned by TAS.
