Job summary

HAS LLC / Journeys LLC seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee facilities, residences, vehicles, and equipment, combining hands-on repair work with operations leadership. You will schedule tasks, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure property readiness for participant transitions.

The role requires overseeing a team, ensuring safety standards, preparing preventative maintenance calendars, and guiding projects from opening to closure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Experience supervising a team, coordinating projects, or assigning work.
• Proficiency with home systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong organization, planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Valid Idaho driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass Background Check through IDHW.
• Must maintain scheduling flexibility to respond to changing operational needs, urgent maintenance issues, and property readiness timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team and assign work orders by priority.
• Train maintenance staff and uphold safe, professional practices.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance needs across programs and report status updates.
• Maintain homes and vehicles to agency standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance calendar for homes, vehicles, and equipment.
• Coordinate major repairs with external vendors and manage related follow-ups.
• Track tools and supplies to control costs and ensure availability.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and report concerns to leadership.
