Job summary

Our client, a facility management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Helper in York, PA. The role supports the Facilities team with preventative maintenance and hands-on tasks, including simple painting and setup of new office spaces.

The ideal candidate has a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, with a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills. Weekdays, 6am–2:25pm, with weekends off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with general construction, equipment maintenance, or painting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic communication skills to understand instructions and memos.
• Knowledge of basic math, measurement, and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance duties for the facility and equipment.
• Assist with moving materials, setting up new office spaces, and simple painting tasks.
• Remove stickers and assist in cleaning and organizing materials.
• Maintain, repair, and assist in the installation of new equipment.
• Keep buildings and grounds clean and orderly, both indoors and outside.
