Job summary

CRH is seeking a Facilities Maintenance & Groundskeeping Technician to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality of company buildings and grounds. The role includes janitorial duties, yard work, landscaping, and basic repairs to keep a clean and professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

The position is non-exempt, requires a high school diploma or GED, and involves working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock restrooms, kitchen, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other facility surfaces.
• Mow grass, trim shrubs, remove weeds, and maintain landscaped areas.
• Pick up litter, debris from parking lots, sidewalks, and outdoor areas.
• Assist with seasonal groundskeeping activities, including leaf removal and storm cleanup.
• Operate lawn care and grounds maintenance equipment safely.
• Conduct minor repairs including painting, carpentry, etc.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door hardware, and other building components.
• Support preventative maintenance programs for facility infrastructure.

Job Summary

This position performs janitorial duties, yard and landscaping maintenance, and general facility repairs to ensure a clean, safe, and professional working environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, hand tools, and power equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and perform work at heights when required
