Job summary

Katmai Government Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance on equipment and buildings, including custodial duties and grounds upkeep at the Irvine area facility.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years' maintenance experience, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. You will use hand tools and may need security checks and a valid license for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' experience in maintenance services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security access/background checks.
• Practical skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
• Must be able to use hand power tools.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial/custodial duties as scheduled.
• Clean floors, windows, and surfaces; inspect HVAC filters.
• Maintain fire alarm system operability.
• Conduct planned maintenance on storage bunker doors.
• Operate grounds equipment and maintain outdoor areas.
• Maintain asphalt/concrete surfaces and drainage with cleaning and repairs.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
