Job summary

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of general maintenance experience, strong communication, and basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and HVAC. A High School diploma or GED is required, with reliable transportation and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in general maintenance repair in construction trades or building maintenance.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Skills to promote reconciliation and positive outcomes in difficult interactions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and handles work order requests.
• Performs routine building maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Assembles furniture and equipment as needed.
• Assists with plumbing, carpentry, electrical repair and basic HVAC tasks.
• Cleans and maintains facilities campus and storage units.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and reports hazards.
• Provides good customer service in a fast-paced environment.
