Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and rules and regulations governing plant equipment.
• HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems knowledge.
• OSHA and safety requirements knowledge.
• Ability to direct and motivate the workforce.
• Strong communication with residents/families and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance of facility and grounds; conducts repairs.
• Schedules third-party repair/maintenance as needed.
• Directs maintenance of utility systems to ensure continuous heat, power, gas, and air supply.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs; manages department budget.
• Recommends improvements to machines and equipment; requisitions tools and supplies.
• Reviews product plans with design engineers; coordinates equipment modifications.
• Leads grounds upkeep and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensures punctuality and attendance for shifts.
