Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a skilled trades technician responsible for construction and repair of interior and exterior buildings and facilities. The role includes daily property rounds, reporting issues, and coordinating with vendors for service.

You will perform repairs on MEP systems, support life safety and compliance inspections, and contribute to tenant service requests. A valid driver's license and a trade-school background are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in trade.
• High School Diploma and trade school or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of BAS system.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds of property territory and report issues.
• Make repairs or contact vendors for service.
• Include property management tasks: obtain bids for repairs, assist requisition process, manage on-site contractors and invoice processing.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on MEP systems and physical plant; respond to tenant service requests in the work order system.
• Conduct Life Safety and Compliance inspections.
