Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Short Description

• Performs various functions pertaining to construction and repair of interior and exterior of buildings and facilities.
• Performs daily rounds of their respective property territory. Reports back issues that need attention. Rounds include grounds, life safety, compliance, inspections, equipment etc. Technician makes repairs or contacts vendor for service.
• 20% of Job Responsibility includes property management/project management services to include obtaining bids for repairs, assisting in requisition process, managing on-site contractors and invoice processing.
• 60% of Job Responsibility includes performing repairs and preventative maintenance on MEP systems and physical plant as required by specific leases. Responds to tenant service requests in work order system. HEM work orders must be completed in a timely & efficient manner.
• 20% of Job Responsibility includes Life Safety and Compliance Inspections. Must be knowledgeable of building codes and capable of evaluating existing conditions to ensure regulatory readiness.

Experience Required

5+ years in Trade.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma and trade School, apprentice school or equivalent required

Special Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license. Motor vehicle record must meet CUHC standard criteria to be permitted to drive CUHC vehicles
