Job summary

Good Samaritan in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Supervisor of Maintenance and Environmental Services to provide overall supervision of the assigned service areas. You will lead safety, environmental services, laundry, maintenance, infection control and emergency preparedness in accordance with federal, state and local standards.

As a leader you will develop staff education, safety procedures and coordinate with other departments; you may chair committees and drive compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school preferred.
• Two years’ experience in related ancillary work preferred.
• Maintains any certifications and/or licensure as required by profession.
• Depending on location, current valid driver’s license may be required and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the assigned ancillary service areas including safety, environmental services, laundry, maintenance, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
• Provide leadership and interact with health system departments, medical staff, patients/residents and families; chair committees as needed.
• Develop and maintain staff education, safety and security procedures; ensure areas meet regulatory requirements.
