Job summary

Good Samaritan in Atkinson, NE seeks a Supervisor, Environmental Services to provide direct leadership to staff, ensuring cleanliness and service quality across assigned areas. You will coordinate projects, assign duties, and support housekeeping and laundry during staffing shortages as needed.

You will also oversee training, safety compliance, and daily operations, maintaining equipment and quality standards while supporting the Joint Commission readiness and department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.
• Proficient in computer use required.
• Attends infection control and safety trainings as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Environmental Services staff to ensure cleanliness and service quality.
• Plan and coordinate project work; assign personnel to areas or duties.
• Ensure supply control guidelines and staff training on chemicals.
• Participate in safety, security, and regulatory compliance and inspections.
• Assist with timecards, schedules, and maintaining records.
