Job summary

Life Time in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to manage the inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and fully operational facility for members and guests.

The candidate will perform routine inspections, monitor pool water chemistry, and maintain detailed CMMS records.

Qualifications

Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Able to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems.
Monitor water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS.
Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience.
