Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair equipment and support daily operations. The role requires reading blueprints, diagnosing tool usage, and working various shifts to keep mechanical systems running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and hands-on experience with diagnostic tools. This on-site position offers the starting rate of $41.40 per hour and benefits aligned with a major hospitality employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic tools and measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance guidelines.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment for boilers, compressors, refrigeration, generators and other mechanical systems.
• Inspect and repair ride systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems.
• Complete work orders and routine maintenance.
• Walk daily routes to identify and fix issues.
