Job summary

The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping Tribal buildings and outdoor premises in good condition across multiple locations. You will perform routine repairs, assist with project planning, and monitor contractors while upholding the Five Star Experience for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year related experience and/or training is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must pass periodic random drug screens and background suitability investigation; Tribal Gaming License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operating condition of Tribal entities’ buildings and equipment and perform simple repairs.
• Assist in planning tribal projects, remodeling, expansions and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Perform ground maintenance and ensure safety policies and OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate with departments and Engineering personnel on as-needed basis; support 24/7 operations where required.
