Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Facilities Maintenance, EHS, Shipping & Receiving Technician to support building maintenance, safety compliance, and shipping/receiving duties. The role splits time across three areas with a day shift and full-time schedule.

Expected to perform preventive maintenance, manage safety records, assist with hazard assessments, and handle incoming/outgoing shipments. Forklift certification preferred; strong communication and organizational skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or trades related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety practices and regulations.
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Building Maintenance & Repair: perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, perform carpentry, coordinate with contractors, respond to work orders, maintain records, support moves and workspace mods, monitor facilities and improve safety and efficiency.
• Environmental Health & Safety: conduct safety inspections, assist with OSHA compliance, assist with hazard identification and corrective actions, maintain safety docs and permits, manage waste and spill response, coordinate safety training and incident investigations.
• Shipping & Receiving: receive and verify incoming materials, inspect for damage, process outgoing shipments, package for transport, maintain records, organize storage, deliver items, coordinate freight, and operate material handling equipment.
