Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in West Allis, WI is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee on-site facilities and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment for residents and staff.

You will monitor HVAC and plumbing systems, schedule inspections, perform repairs, and manage vendor relationships while upholding state and federal guidelines. A high school diploma and 3 years in maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Three years’ experience in maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) preferred.
• Must pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet training/guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
• Monitor HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Test and schedule inspections of fire protection, security, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance.
• Provide regular and emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout building.
• Maintain facilities in areas such as electrical, preventative maintenance, carpentry, painting, vendor management and EPA.
• Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents.
