Job summary

Palm Garden of Mattoon is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for residents. The role emphasizes overseeing upkeep, staff supervision, and adherence to regulations to maintain quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in maintenance or facilities management.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Driver's License and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Painting and general repair experience is a plus.
• Preferred experience in maintenance or facilities management, but we will train the right motivated candidate.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing facility maintenance and repairs to ensure proper operation of buildings, systems, and equipment.
• Coordinating and supervising maintenance staff with guidance and training for quality workmanship.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Staying up-to-date with local and state regulations and industry best practices for compliance and continuous improvement.
