Job summary

Palm Garden of Mattoon seeks an experienced Activity Director to create and manage a dynamic activities program for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will design and implement diverse activities that foster socialization, growth, and well-being.

Collaborating with Nursing, Therapy, and Dietary teams, you will recruit and train volunteers, track participation, and ensure records and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Activity Director in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and residents’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate engaging activities programs for residents.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Therapy, and Dietary teams for resident-centered care.
• Plan activities promoting physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual well-being.
