Job summary

Franklin Park Alamo Heights in San Antonio, TX is interviewing for a full-time Maintenance Director to oversee building operations and grounds, coordinate repairs, and supervise staff. The role emphasizes prompt, courteous service and maintaining a safe, attractive community.

The regular hours are 8:00am–5:00pm with on-call duties evenings and weekends; after-hours availability is required as needed. Ideal candidates will have HVAC expertise, electrical and plumbing skills, and leadership

Qualifications

Extensive HVAC knowledge with EPA certification.
Electrical training/experience with electrical certification.
Training and/or experience in plumbing.
Training and/or experience in carpentry.
Make-ready experience.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Physically walk and inspect buildings and grounds regularly and identify repairs.
Perform routine upkeep and repairs such as clearing sinks, patching/painting, and lightbulbs.
Supervise and schedule housekeeping/laundry staff
Test fire protection systems and maintain logs as required by code
Manage contract services including landscaping, security and pest control
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
Complete annual preventative maintenance
Inspect vacated rooms and return to move-in condition
Assist with move-out and move-ins
Train employees in safety and conduct fire drills
Keep company-owned equipment in good working order
