Genesis Healthcare in Hurricane, WV is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for patients and residents. You will oversee electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems and report to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, maintaining fire alarm and emergency generator systems, keeping required records, budgeting, and being on-call around the clock.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVACR systems required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems
• Supervise maintenance department; orientation for new staff
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems
• Maintain required records and reports; perform budget planning
• Remain on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day
• Operate on the TELS platform for Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks
