Job summary

Trellis Paradise in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department in a health facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards for a safe, comfortable environment.

You will lead maintenance schedules, coordinate with Dietary, Nursing, Activities, and other departments, supervise safety programs, review budgets, and oversee vendor work. Strong supervisory and regulatory knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance/plant-related position.
• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs, and activities.
• Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other departments.
• Supervise safety and fire protection and prevention programs by inspecting work areas and equipment.
• Assist in preparing and planning the Maintenance Department's budget for equipment, supplies, and labor.
• Ensure that services performed by outside vendors are properly completed and supervised.
