Job summary

Trellis Paradise is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the facility. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, supervising safety programs, and managing budgets and vendor activities.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, reviewing procedures, inspecting equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant-related position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department and its activities.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed and write maintenance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and external vendors as needed.
• Supervise safety and fire protection programs and verify weekly inspections.
• Maintain and ensure proper labeling and storage of hazardous chemicals; ensure MSDS readiness.
• Prepare and manage the Maintenance Department budget for equipment, supplies, and labor.
• Maintain records of department expenditures and cost reports for Administrator review.
• Make periodic rounds to ensure equipment operation and proper maintenance procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and reschedule maintenance work as required.
• Inspect facilities and ensure safe, clean, and efficient maintenance practices.
