The role requires performing general building maintenance, minor repairs, custodial tasks, and preventative maintenance, often working independently to keep offices, walkways, and exteriors in prime condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in building maintenance or custodial work.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall.
• Experience with hand/power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall work.
• Maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and general building components.
• Assist with preventative maintenance of HVAC and other building systems.
• Maintain building exteriors, walkways, and surrounding areas.
• Identify and report major repair needs and assist with facility setup and equipment relocation.
• Coordinate higher level repairs and maintenance with external contractors.
• Provide escort service for contractors working on site
