Job summary

OHSU in Portland, OR is seeking a Trades/Maintenance Coordinator to manage workload for the facilities team and coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and system shutdowns. You will support HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation of the building environment.

Use Oracle and Excel to track performance indicators, coordinate with facility managers on staff reviews, and act as the primary customer service rep for Facilities & Logistics.

Qualifications

• Three years of facilities operation/maintenance experience in a building environment.
• One additional year coordinating maintenance work.
• Valid Oregon driver license.
• In-depth HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and control systems knowledge.
• Journeyman-level mechanical trades with ability to read blueprints.
• Intermediate/advanced PC skills including Excel and data entry.
• Excellent writing and clear communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and follow up on work orders and duties for the crew.
• Use Oracle and Excel to track workloads and report performance indicators.
• Coordinate staff performance reviews with the manager.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of building systems and coordinate shutdowns.
• Serve as primary customer service representative for Facilities & Logistics.
• Attend required trainings and ensure OSHA/JCAHO compliance where applicable.
• Complete daily labor reports and other paperwork on time.
