Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities MRO Coordinator at a large Chester, VA facility. You will coordinate all maintenance work, evaluate requests, and ensure permits and licenses are kept up to date.

The role involves planning daily operations under supervision and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, up to 2 years of experience; combo with education considered.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Proficient in basic work routines and standards.
• Good communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and other Office tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain facilities and grounds.
• Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
• Ensure all permits and licenses are maintained and up to date.
• Plan, organize, and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Establish and communicate the level of quality and safety expected in maintenance tasks.
• Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
