Job summary

Buc-ee's, Ltd. in Temple, TX is seeking a Janitorial/Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to direct maintenance staff and ensure the cleanliness and reliable operation of the store and grounds.

You will plan, supervise, train, and coordinate repairs with management and vendors, while upholding safety standards and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts include opening/closing, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance and supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours on hard and uneven surfaces.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Work with little supervision at a rapid pace for extended shifts.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions year-round.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control the efforts of the Maintenance staff.
• Direct training of employees to improve work performance and acquaint staff with company policies and procedures.
• Work with Store Management Teams and Vendors to oversee repairs and maintenance of store equipment.
• Compare and evaluate maintenance activities and determine best course of action to improve operations.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions to General Manager.
• Perform light maintenance duties on all elements of equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
